Consumers how to distinguish between true and false solid wood flooring
Solid wood flooring is the ground decoration materials used more in recent years. Because its materials are taken from the trees in nature, it caters to people's life trend of "returning to simplicity and yearning for nature", and is favored by people. However, in the process of purchasing, the editor found that many owners could not distinguish the quality of the floor, or even what solid wood floor was. Then the problem came, and many small brands and small manufacturers deceived consumers. So how to choose a good wood floor?
Color plate: Take the junction part of log sapwood and core material as solid wood substrate, and the floor surface is modified by using color essence or special coloring to eliminate the color difference between sapwood and core material, so as to deceive consumers by selling high-quality solid wood floor. Due to the different air-dry density, moisture content and wood hardness of sapwood and core material, it is easy to cause a series of quality problems such as floor arching, deformation and cracking.
Identification method: the surface of the floor with sandpaper or saw off the floor after the end face will show a very serious color difference.
Transfer board: it is made by splicing some tailings, off-line boards and solid wood floor boards of different lengths through finger bonding process and acts as pure solid wood floor sales to deceive consumers. Such flooring due to the use of a large number of adhesive splicing, high formaldehyde content is not environmentally friendly, and due to uneven stress in the floor easily lead to deformation, cracking.
Identification method: longitudinal sawing or grinding visible finger joint traces.
Sticking panel: Sticking 0.05mm-2mm thick solid wood veneer on inferior solid wood substrate to deceive consumers by selling pure solid wood flooring. This kind of floor is unstable in quality due to the selection of inferior substrates, and the use of adhesive glue to press the veneer and inferior wood together is easy to cause the veneer to peel off the substrate, and there is a certain formaldehyde content that is not environmentally friendly.
Identification method: can be distinguished by comparing the surface and bottom of the floor, solid wood floor surface and the ground of the wood grain is basically the same, and the veneer is completely different.
Transfer plates: in wood defects such as bugs, spots, cracks, etc., to serve as solid wood flooring sales to deceive consumers. The transfer board is mostly made of inferior grade B wood as the base material, the floor quality is unstable, the wood grain is not natural, similar to the reinforced floor, at the same time, the paint surface is easy to fall off and crack due to less paint coating process.
Identification method: It can be distinguished by the surface wood grain. The wood grain of the solid wood floor is natural, and the wood grain on the surface of the transfer plate is the same, basically there is no color difference, and the wood grain on the back and the front is completely different.
Short-lived board: wood floor is a modern industrial product with high production process requirements and certain technical content. Due to their own conditions, some enterprises fail to meet the national standards in terms of paint adhesion and paint hardness, especially the lax control of moisture content, resulting in deformation, paint falling off and scratch resistance of the surface in a very short period of time after the floor is paved.
